Blood Donation Camp

Biligiri Hotels organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Moksh resturant premises at Necklace Road on March 19, 2009 in association with Indian Red Cross Society. The camp was an attempt to instill the importance of donating blood and to help build awareness of donating blood to the needy. 62 people gave blood to the cause including the staff. "It gives me immense satisfaction to be serving in our industry of hospitality, but today it really gave me the joy to think that my blood can help someone to live," commented a staff member of Biligiri Hotels. The Red Cross Society was impressed with the attitude with which the blood was donated and it is going to be an inspiration to others to similarly donate blood.







	Traffic Safety Day
	November 3, 2008 was celebrated as a traffic safety day was initiated by Bilgiri Hotels. The drive included our staff actually getting on to the roads and manning the signals, helping pedestrians cross the roads and educating the masses about the importance of following traffic rules. The drive had 10 staff members on road, dedicating an four hours on a working day for volunteering. The drive was extreamly successful in curbing road rage and helping the citizens in understaning the improtance of following rules.
